Faïenceries de Martres-Tolosane

The faïenceries produce fine ceramics at the ‘craft village’ of Martres-Tolosane. All pieces are hand-crafted and the glazed is applied by soaking. Decorations are then painted directly onto the raw glaze before firing, following the tradition of the faïenciers craftsmen of the 18th Century.
